UC Welcome Ceremony

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: MS 2158 (Medical Sciences Building)

Description: The UC welcoming ceremony is a long-standing tradition where incoming students are officially welcomed into the University College community. Expect a formal welcome from UC faculty and student leaders, along with reflections on what it means to join UC. This is a meaningful and ceremonial moment, a great opportunity to take it all in before the fun continues!

Description: Take a well-earned break and enjoy lunch with your program group! Leaders will guide everyone back to FUNG, grab some food, and get ready for an exciting afternoon ahead. 🌟

Pre UofT

Time: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Location: Meet at Sir Dans Quad

Description: Pre-UofT is your first look into the noble, academic life UofT has to offer! You’ll be grouped with fellow royals (students) in your program and guided to a classroom session where UC faculty and staff will introduce you to what your honourable next few years will look like. It’s a great chance to meet your future classmates, ask questions, and get a feel for your program before classes begin.

What to Bring:

Exploring the Realm (St George Campus Tour)

Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Location: Meet at UC Quad

Description: Who wants to go on a royal adventure? The St. George Tour is part scavenger hunt, part guided adventure, giving you a chance to discover U of T’s most important buildings, study spots, and hidden gems alongside students in your academic program. You’ll travel in program-based groups led by your Orientation leaders. Wear comfy shoes, apply sunscreen, bring a water bottle, and get ready to learn your way around the St. George campus — it’s big, but you’ve got this!

🎤 Moonlit Mayhem

Time: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Location:Back Campus

Description: The field is our battleground. Midnight Madness is a high-energy, glow-in-the-dark showdown featuring intense games, booming music, and non-stop house spirit. Whether you're in it to win or just here for the vibes, there’ll be cheering and lots of strategy. Wear your Orientation t-shirt and wristband, lace up your shoes, bring water, and get ready to show uhh what UC is made of. 🏆

Location: Student Activity Space (UC union building)

Dress Code: Comfy casual (pajamas, hoodies, etc.)

Description: Speed courting: Introduce yourself and get to know the group with the Newly-Friends Game. Break the ice with one-on-one speed friending chats! During the Rose Ceremony, exchange information to keep in touch with the connections you’ve made!
